Bab 124: [Bonus chapter] Cooperation

Liling's parents were wide-eyed in shock.

'This is not a dream, right?'

'Their offer is a business negotiation?'

Silence.

Song Jia continued to sip on her tea.

Liling glanced from her parents to Sun Xun, wondering what they were thinking about.

She tugged at her father's robes. The latter looked and saw his daughter's curious look.

'If I accept this proposal, would it be enough?'

"It will be our honor, Mister, Madam."

Liling's parents bowed before them.

Sun Xun nodded.

Knock! Knock!

The door opened.

The waiter came in bringing the food and left soon after.

"Come, let's eat." Song Jia told them.

"Ah.This--" The father started to decline. They have already imposed on them long enough.

"Treat this as the beginning of our cooperation." Song Jia poured wine for them and raised her cup. 

The man's eyes widened. He quickly raised his cup and accepted her generosity.
