Bab 43: Chapter 43: RIP Sword of Selection
I was heading back to where Artoria settled after her 7thbattle on a horse.
Battle with Yu Mei-ren raised many questions for me to find.
How Consort Yu was able to get information from the other side of the planet? Why did she want to steal it? And what does it mean to reunite with his beloved husband? Is time traveling possible with Chastiefol?
Elaine's answer on this topic was, "I am simply a spirit with a designated function. Time traveling is not possible with my current analysis of Chastiefol but its full capabilities are unknown even to me."
I wanted to learn many things from Yu but she was not a human but an elemental. I was unable to perform the memory reading function on Yu since she was not human. I didn't even think that she was killed like that since elementals who, upon receiving a human appearance and then physically killed, turned into wraith who will be reborn in another 1000 years. The only way to kill them is to let their spirit burn and they exhaust themselves.
Other questions that were tingling in my mind were related to the 'world'. The throne of heroes is unknown in the current era, only Merlin and I know of it.
The will of the 'world' that summons those heroic spirits was to deal with cases that are a disaster to humanity.
But I don't think that I have committed any sin to attract the attention of the 'world'.
One reason could be that I am from outside of this universe that like a bug in a program but I am not harming anyone here.
"I have to get stronger."
To put it bluntly, I didn't have much time to deal with finding answers.
Instead of questioning others, it would be better to become strong.
From Elaine, I found out that I could use 'True Spirit Forms' of Chastiefol if I manage to obtain divinity.
If you describe Chastiefol's regular forms versatile then their 'True Spirit Forms' could be called a greater version that makes their power several times stronger.
I still didn't know if I would face consequences like King but it was a matter of other time.
There are also 'New True Spirit Forms' that just makes King master of long-ranged weapon master where he could use all forms of Chastiefol at the same time without any drawback and with 100 times better effectiveness than regular forms.
However, Elaine didn't reveal to me anything about how I could get 'New True Spirit Forms'. Although she didn't tell me, I knew that I have to leave my human side and has to turn into a complete fairy.
I was also not worried about it since I have already set my goals and the parameters were certain. I just have to find ways and encash the chance.
Anyway, I soon entered the city where I could see knights celebrating another victory of King Arthur. However, the atmosphere turned gloomy when I entered the castle.
I found several Knights of the Round Table looking tense. From their looks, I could feel that something has gone wrong.
They were praising King Arthur meaning that Artoria was alive but they were not looking delighted in any way.
I then found Brother Kay who was reading a document. As a senior knight but not as strong as Gawain or Lancelot, he was mostly in charge of managing the camps and looking after odd works like arranging food for knights or assessing their needs. Bedivere worked under him.
I tapped his shoulders to get his attention.
"Oh hey, buddy. Where have you been?"
He was happy to see his brother okay since it was the first time that I was not with the knights on this voyage. He also must have realized that I took a troublesome request where I went alone to deal with.
"Sup' Brother Kay. Why the atmosphere looked so tense? Merlin is executed after cheating with some duke's wife?"
"I wish if that could happen. Nearly all the girls I met always mention their time with that incubus. I wish I could strangle his neck." Brother Kay sighed then made a sad look and whispered, "Actually you should meet her- I mean King Arthur. She has been mourning for quite a bit."
Brother Kay left after telling me about her.
Artoria only mourns when I cut her dessert.
'But I left a month's of ration for her to eat.'
I remembered a left her a magic plate-like slab that could summon a single of her favorite dish every other night. Did she break my gift?
The possibility was there.
I continued my way towards where Artoria was sitting and found Merlin- no he found me with an expression that was telling me to know something important.
"Einar, I will simply cut down to chase, Caliburn is broke."
"What!?"
"Yes, the thing is…"
Merlin then explained the situation. Artoria met a strong opponent in her last battle who gave her a good fight however the enemy general was using a cursed weapon that, although Artoria emerged victoriously, was successfully able to damage Caliburn which broke in another light hit.
"This is odd…"
"Yeah, I find it odd too…"
Merlin was also confused.
However, I knew the reason. At that time, I was unaware that Morgan had already turned into a witch, now called 'Morgan le fay', and was attempting to dethrone Artoria at any cost.
It is due to Morgan's mischief that Artoria lost her favorite weapon. And that cursed weapon would later be known as Clarent.
My relationship with Morgan was very harmonious. We still treated each other as close friends so the possibility of Morgan involving in that act didn't cross my mind.
"Einar, it is time for King Arthur to obtain his rightful sword." Merlin was now serious and indicating his intention.
I nodded since I knew that he was asking me to escort Artoria towards the lady of the lake and get her Excalibur, the sword of victory.
I then silently entered the study and closed the door.
I saw Artoria sighing with her head on the desk and a broken Caliburn in front. The Caliburn was broken from the tip to few inches down and looked quite ugly.
I could feel her grieve since I once also broke the Chastiefol spear when I was testing its capabilities but thankfully it could repair itself instantly.
"Einar!"
Artoria saw me and jumped into my arms and taking me to her embrace. She was still taller than me by the way but not much now.
"I missed your butt a lot Artoria~" I smiled while rubbing her ample yet sturdy ass. She also didn't mind my perverted nature since she was quite open to my advances.
"Einar, I-"
She wanted to say something but I shut her lips with mine.
I knew she would say something idiotic like 'I am not fit to be king', or 'Why I am so weak?'. She would have received a punch from me if she had said that.
After enjoying smooch for few minutes, we separated from each other with a single string of saliva hanging between our lips.
"Better?"
"Hmm, better."
The kiss works similarly to Snickers when we are feeling down and 'a little hungry'. We have already kissed several times by the way. However, we have set a timer as not to get horny and take a further step.
"Don't worry Artoria. You have to get a better and stronger weapon." I smiled and held her hand to prepare for our journey.
"Really?!"
"Yeah, now don't ask further and come with me."
"Where are we going?"
"To meet your mother-in-law."

Bab 44: Chapter 44: Reunion with Vivian
(Einar's POV)
Two individuals could be seen walking slowly in a forest.
"Einar, how long this will further take?" Artoria asked looking a little exhausted.
"Jusssst a little longer~" I winked at her. I then held her hand and smiled, "Don't worry I am here to protect you from danger."
"Ugg… Caliburn's absence doesn't mean that I am weak!" She shook her head.
I just chuckled after patting Artoria and acting like a man who has to protect his woman.
We had been walking in the forest for almost 2 days but still unable to locate the holy lake.
"Einar, you are deliberately doing it." Artoria dryly retorted.
"Ops busted." I smiled awkwardly.
Actually, I could have taken her to meet Vivian but who doesn't want some quality time with your lover after you have fought numerous battles.
That was the only time when Artoria shows signs of opening her heart. She was always vigilant and hardly showed her sweet side during her normal days so I thought about making some memories with her now that I got some time.
Artoria smiled with a sigh and then patted my head.
"Fufu~, Einar, I do not dislike spending any time with you. In fact, I love every moment I spend with you. It's just that… I have a duty as a King of Britain. I can't let even a single second waste."
"Sigh* You are so into king stuff. Guess it can't be helped."
"But if you want we can spend few more days here. It is actually quite refreshing."
"Nah, I think it is time. Grab my dick- I mean hand."
I extended my hands and she nodded and held both of my hands. We then closed our eyes and soon we felt a little change of air.
When we opened our eyes, we were in a different place. Although it was still a forest, it was more beautiful and refreshing as compared to the forest we previously were.
"Let's go. It is time to meet your mother-in-law." I held her hand and started walking towards the lake.
"Eh?..." Artoria was again confused since she was simply thinking of retrieving the sword and then left.
"What? Didn't I tell you that I will be introducing my woman to my mother? Don't worry she won't bite you although she is a little pervert."
"Ah… I guess…" She nodded and I could see her ahoge swinging excitedly.
"You don't want us to reveal our relationship? Or you start hating me?" I made a sad expression to tease the king of knights.
"No! Absolutely not! I would never hate you. Not in million years!" She irrupted like someone took away her dessert.
"Ara ara ma~, Einar, my son, it seems like you really have grown as a gentleman to have such a loving wife~"
We then heard a ara ara voice and saw a humanoid woman on the lake smiling at us.
"I know right, mother."
"E-Einar, she is…" Artoria was confused and embarrassed at the same time. Confused because of that woman and embarrassed that she just confessed her strong feelings for me in front of what my seemed to be a mother.
I then introduced both of them to each other. After calming from her embarrassed face, Artoria stated her reason for coming here to receive the promised sword of victory.
The original legend was supposed to be Merlin taking her to the lake and become a witness that she was borrowing a sword that was carrying the hope of humanity from the lady of the lake but I replaced Merlin in that aspect.
"Very well then." Mother nodded and about to leave to retrieve the word when I stopped her.
"Mother, I have some matter to discuss with you."
"Eh? You want to lose virginity with me first?"
Artoria and I choked when Vivian uttered those words. Artoria shook her face and looked at me as if saying like mother like son.
I didn't comment and just walked ahead of mother after telling Artoria to wait. Vivian also chucked and followed me leaving doubting Artoria whether the lady of the lake really going to steal her husband's virginity.
We soon entered another space where I took a deep breath. I was mesmerized by the nostalgic environment of my home.
Vivian was also happy and asked me about my journey so far. I didn't mind and start telling her how I fell in love with gender-bend King Arthur and now following her in her quest.
She also laughed when I mentioned this while she was searching for Excalibur from her storeroom. Yeah, the hope of humanity was used to lick the dust in the storeroom.
"Here."
Vivian handed me the golden sword. Avalon was a sheath with incredible power and Excalibur that has enormous power that could destroy any evil or even word.
I always thought that I should just use this sword instead of a spear since Excalibur is just a power buster. With my mana, I could Yamcha anyone. But in the end, I decided against it.
First, it was meant to be used by King Arthur. Even if I want to use it and have chucked Arthur, I would still have given it to him.
The second reason was natural since my delicate hands were not meant to use a big sword. Even if I managed to master sword technique, it would have hindered my mastery of Chastiefol that was my main trump card.
There was also another of Excalibur's sister sword Excalibur Galatine. It was the sword that channels power from the sun. It was powerful but its abilities were limited. I was planning to give this to Gawain since he was whining for a while to get a holy sword.
"What's the matter, sweetie?" Vivian warmly asked. "Let me also give you something."
"Huh?" I was again confused by my mother's mind-reading skills. I indeed came here to ask for certain items that also existed in this reality just like Chastiefol.
I only get this information from Elaine when I was discussing my plans. She was not sure but she hinted that it was supposed to be in possession of Vivian.
Vivian soon came back with two items in her hand.
One was a small purplish crystal orb and the other was a white round-shaped diamond that was half the size of the other one.
My eyes widened when I realized where I have seen that Sacred Treasure.
"Looks like you knew something." Vivian smiled and informed me about two orbs. "These are called Aldan and Aldan Deux."
Aldan, it was Merlin's sacred treasure from Seven Deadly Sins. After Chastiefol, it was the second sacred treasure to appear in this reality!
"Just like your Chastiefol, it is also made from Sacred Tree. Aldan is a core part of the tree and is highly versatile to cast any kind of complex spell."
"But why are you giving this to me?"
"Well the thing is… we elementals can't use this."
"Hah!?"
"Yeah… it's quite embarrassing but it is true. By the way, don't even let Merlin feel about its air. You know what kind of guy he is."
"That's something that we both could agree."
My main object to meet Vivian was indeed to receive this kind of weapon at all cost.
Without even using Aldan properly, I could already feel the hidden potential of Aldan.
With this my object to make the make grand magic spell is complete. Grand magic spell, it could cast a worldwide spell to threaten Alaya, in simple terms, a self-defense nuke.
I then stored all treasures in my inventory except Excalibur and bid farewell to Vivian. I was excited about how King Arthur will be going to use this legendary sword.

(Vivian's POV)
I could just stand there and wave my hand to the departing figure of my son. My reason to not see him leave on the surface was weak. I wanted to hold his arms to never let foot on the cursed land of humans again but I was reluctant to hold him back. I wished for him to grow stronger but not in this painful way.
"Well, humanity is an infestation anyway."
I knew perfectly well what Einar was going to do with Aldan and I didn't care. Humanity is doomed anyway.

Avengers were having a party in avengers' tower and all men were taking turns who will lift Thor's hammer.
"Argg!" Steve Rogers was the last one but he was also not worthy enough to lift Mjölnir.
However, Thor noticed that Steve managed to slightly move the hammer.
"I guess no one is worthy enough!" Thor laughed as he was strongest among all avengers.
Suddenly a boy with blond hair around 17 years old came with a wine bottle in his hand. His face was also red from drunkenness.
He was Einar Sirius du lac who came here after wishing for Holy Grail to have skills like Zoro from One Piece. What he was expecting were swords skills but instead, what he got was his 'Getting Lost' ability. Now he ends up here and got drunk.
"Hic* hey, guys… enjoying the booty party…!" The boy was drunk.
"Hey, who the hell are you?" Tony asked.
"I am regular everyday normal motherfuker~" Einar giggled with a hiccup. Einar then came near the table and held Mjölnir's grip and without waiting even for a second, he easily lifted the god's weapon.
"What!?" Everyone stood up in surprise.
"Hey! Tell me who are you?!" Thor was angry.
"I am… hmmm? Ah-ha! I am worthy~. Hic* Happy destroying and fixing this world guys. Bye bitches!" Einar then put his two fingers on his forehead and disappeared.
"Did I… Did I just get robbed?" Thor was at loss on words.
