Queen Yulia woke up that afternoon.
Shen Fanxing stayed by the bed.
When she first saw Shen Fanxing, there was an indescribable emotion in her eyes.
"You're awake."
Shen Fanxing said softly with a faint smile on her face.
Queen Yulia nodded gently and turned to look out of the window. The sky had darkened.
After a moment of silence, as if recalling everything that had happened, she took a deep breath.
Without a word, Shen Fanxing poured her a glass of water and swirled it gently.
She felt melancholy, pity, and even sadness. She couldn't say anything.
She was hurt by her granddaughter whom she had doted on for more than twenty years. Even though she was the closest person to her, she couldn't judge her.
"Fanxing."
Queen Yulia spoke slowly, her hand grabbing Shen Fanxing's shirt.
Shen Fanxing looked down at her.
"Yes?"
"Are you blaming me in your heart?"
