Ringkasan
When his wife left without a word when they were young, he entrusted their child to his mother and spiraled into despair, drowning his sorrows in alcohol.
Sixteen years passed in a blur, and his daughter was diagnosed with depression.
As she lay on the hospital bed, she struggled to smile.
"Dad, I don't blame you, and I never blamed Mom. If I have another life, I still want to be your child, but please, don't leave me again."
With that, she closed her eyes and departed from this world.
It felt like something tore apart in the depths of his heart.
Gu Chen fell into a coma.
Upon awakening again, his two-year-old daughter was calling him "Daddy" with a sweet smile and a childish voice.
He was reborn!
This time, he vowed to make up for his regrets towards his daughter, to hold his wife's hand and never let her go.
This time, he was determined to change everything!

Tulis ulasanThe new batch of books is full of garbages, not a single decent one present. The title is either cringey or the summary and tags itself tell about the predictive plot.
if my wife left me she would be dead to me.....the moment she made her choice I already killed her(in my heart and mind)....I wouldn't even care about her enough too go get drunk or be all depressed.
the synopsis isn't clear on this does she die from slitting her wrist because she's depressed is that what they meant and also it says that his wife left him when he was young so it's implied that that was his fault just confusing but she also gave up on her daughter so I probably won't read it
Mediocre writing, bad story development and horrible translation. I persisted in reading because I like family slice-of-life stories, but this one really tested my patience. Characters are not likeable either, designed to be exceedingly shallow and two-faced.
I like this kind of story. But the names are different every time! It is still readable at the end of the day and weirdly a lot of the grammar is actually fine except for gender pronouns getting mixed up. But man the name of the main character gets switched with other characters constantly, name of his daughter changes all the time. again still readable but gets exhausting and i can only read a bit at a time or else i will blow a fuse.
I read a lot and see people misjudging in the comments. a summary of my impressions: the daughter probably dies of malnutrition due to depression (she didn't eat well); the woman ran away, then you see that he (mc) treated her very badly and didn't take care of the family, addicted to gambling, without his wife working she would have starved to death along with her daughter. The woman runs away and probably goes back to her family who has a lot of money, but before marrying the MC she was running away from an arranged marriage. Where I'm reading MC is thinking why she never came back in her past life, be it death or something else. The MC is very good with his family in his new life, but if you put yourself in his wife's shoes you would hardly forgive him, a person who left his family to chance
Please proofread. The story is quite ok but the names are all over the place, in ch 30 the mc was literally called granny zhang. Otherwise a quite interesting read. The death from depression is due to malnutrion and anorexia.
