Bab 167: Toy

Foster's sight was blurry, but he still knew what it said on the message windows that had popped up in front of him. This was bad, really bad. He hasn't felt like this in a while. It was like he was about to bleed out, and his body was overcome with a wave of cold as his legs gave in to his own body's weight, his hand still wrapped tightly around the black crystal that laid within the ooze's body just a moment earlier.

"Shut up," Foster groaned out under his breath, trying to catch himself. He couldn't even hear what the others were saying; their voices were drowned out by the ringing in his ears. Foster felt a warmth wrap around his body as a soft melody soon overcame the ringing in his ears.
