Bab 130: Returning To The Tomb

The next morning, Edol, Tori, and Pierre were preparing to head back into the relic tomb. The previous day they gathered everything they wanted to bring in to the trapped team. 

Edol was excited to return. He had made good progress on deciphering a few of the symbols on the pillars, and he was looking forward to seeing what the other group thought of his work.

Just like a week ago, though, they noticed something off about the city as they approached.

Smoke was in the sky once again, albeit much less than the previous time. 

The roads also seemed to be a bit more empty than usual. The team decided to stop for some food before entering the tomb, but the closer they got to the trade district, the fewer people they saw milling around, and the more guards that were present. 

"This is where the smoke is coming from too… it looks like the cult might've struck again."
