Bab 80: When I First Met You

"What is it?" Irene curiously asked. However, she tried not to look like it. She went on to continuously stir her beverage as if to divert her attention to something else.

Amiel thoughtfully darted his eyes on Irene who was busy moving her metallic straw back and forth as she stirred her drink. 

A loose strand of hair is effortlessly hanging on each sides of her forehead thus contributing to her already delicate look. Her facial expression tells him that she is not so interested to hear about it but something deep inside urged him to go on and talk.

There is a glint of hope sparkling in her heart, kind of suspecting that he may have the same familiar feeling as hers when they first met. 

It was a joyous night at their ancestral family house located in the enchanted but beautiful forest of the northern countryside. For days, the entire clan knew that Lucas and his girlfriend will be attending the said gathering.
