Bab 41: The Authority and Those Who Follow It

In the decimated castle found in the center of the capital city, Soteria stood atop the tallest tower with an emotionless expression plastered on her face. A short breeze of wind passed through Soteria and ruffled her jet-black hair. What Soteria saw before her eyes were the crumbling capital city of Chimbell. In itself, it was nothing more than some disappointing scenery.

Soteria silently stood as she looked closely at the crimson flames of suffering shrouding the background. It was her first time seeing such destruction before her eyes. The cold corpses covering the streets and the dust enveloping everything made it resemble Inferno. Even though Soteria herself never entered it.

"So this is the kingdom Lady Alastair is saving." Soteria quietly uttered as she sighed and continued her words. "Then the spoken imperial army must be powerful, cruel, and vicious. One can compare them to barbarians if they are capable of doing such things without a hint of mercy."
