Bab 49: Back again in Inferno

The echoing sound of the gunfire resonated throughout Alastair's ears. Alastair, who was deep unconscious, was immediately awoken by such a sound. At first, she found herself confused as to why she was hearing such a thing. It took a while for her to completely calm herself and analyze the situation before her.

'My body is tired, I can't move a single muscle, and I'm incredibly fragile at the moment. I had also been struck with a dream regarding my memories. What the hell is going on?' Alastair silently thought within herself. She didn't know what had happened. 

Though Alastair was sure about one thing. She appeared to have fallen unconscious during the conclusion of the second soul deal. At that moment, she was excited about the souls she would get. But unfortunately, the unexpected thing that had recently happened destroyed her excitement.
