The Three-Eyed Golden Lion bumbled and staggered a few steps backward. Its third eye had momentarily turned from gold to black before reverting back to gold, a change that Elder Xuan, Wang Dong, and Xiao Xiao observed clearly.

The Three-Eyed Golden Lion seemed weakened and didn't struggle further, instead staring blankly at Huo Yuhao, whom Elder Xuan had set on the ground, with an equally vacant look in his eyes.

Huo Yuhao seemed to have sensed something as well, his gaze landing on the Three-Eyed Golden Lion. As their eyes met in midair, they both felt a slight shiver in their minds, particularly in their third eyes which became numb, giving rise to a strange sensation.
