Speed. Evasion.
I'm pretty sure I don't need any special mana manipulation skills.
After my volleyball mishap, we were given a very lengthy water break. However, the boys in our class really wanted to play patintero.
Well, who wouldn't? It is a very fun game where two teams compete. Each individual on the defense team will have to stand in lines. Basically it's like playing in a grid of squares. But the defense team people can't leave their assigned lines.
Our patintero mechanics is different though. Something like my previous world streetgame. Our class though has a grid of 4 squares
Imagine three vertical lines parallel to each other from left to right: orange, red and blue. Now, there are three horizontal lines from bottom to top: yellow, green and pink.
The goal of patintero is to cross the rectangle back and forth without getting tagged. The attacker team starts infront of the yellow line, the entrance of the rectangle. One is assigned guard per line. The yellow line can tag-touch you if you are in-front of him but once you step past his line. He can't unless you are returning already. However be careful because this patintero version has assigned guards also for blue and orange line which are called around the world guards. The patotot can also tag-touch you, because he is the middle guard... he can tag you every time. Regardless whether you just entered the inside or returning. The green horizontal line guard on the middle can only tag you between the area of green and yellow lines if you haven't entered the area between pink and green lines. If you get past him, he can't tag you unless you are already done getting past the pink line and have returned. Pink line guard can tag you nonetheless because he is the last line guard whether you are going past him by exiting the grids or returning.
The boys in our class consist of 18 students. Well, for the defense team, only six guards are needed. While the attack team mandatorily has to have 9 attackers.
We don't want to waste our soul card abilities as well as our internal mana so all of us decided to not use anything. But before we start we heard a whistle from Miss Park.
"Since you boys don't want to use your water break and you seemed to divide your teams already into two. I won't change that anymore." she shouted. "Also, I will be observing this match so I will allow you to do you basic physical enhancements using your soul cards."
She really had to end her statement by staring at me. Yikes.
Last night, the boys of our section really bonded. Each section has a classroom size common area room without anything. We decided to sleep there even if it's just our first day.
Anyways, my team consisted of not so well-balanced team. But it is to our advantage. We have some of the "small" boys, Jace, Ranz and me. We also have the tall guys Riemera, Mikkblack and Mikhael. We also have Rosell, Robert and Paulo as the endomorph students of our team.
