Rowan waited for Wren to say something negative about his sister being Ciprian's daughter, but he merely listened from his place between Rowan's knees.
"The only person in this world I love more than her is you," Rowan said. "Please don't be upset, but...I told her about you."
A ripple of surprise passed through the gold of Wren's gaze, and his hands tensed on Rowan's thighs. "You told Ciprian's daughter?"
"I told my *sister*. I wanted her to know how important you are to me." Rowan toyed with the end of his braid, suddenly nervous about Wren's reaction. "Actually, she already knew before I said anything."
"How?"
After everything Wren had been through, Rowan refused to keep secrets from him. He knew in his heart Loma would understand. "She's been having visions."
Wren watched the movement of Rowan's fingers through his hair as if he'd just discovered something new to be obsessed with. "I'm sure the True Liar loves that."
Well...that almost was a nice family bonding moment. I really want to end this story with a big, dysfunctional family dinner...hopefully we can get there.
