A lot of planning and training. Gojo has never done this much preparation for a battle like he did for this one happening on twenty fourth of December.
The final showdown against the infamous King Of Curses—Ryomen Sukuna was about to commence. And the most irritating part was the body Sukuna was possessing as his vessel.
'I need to be quick with the Domain or this won't end just with a few scratches...' His mind was occupied with nothing but Sukuna as he reached the stairs that led him downstairs to his students.
He was accompanied by the old man Gakuganji and fellow teacher Utahime as Gojo stood with an unusually tense atmosphere around him.
"Sensei! Your cursed technique is in the way."
Gojo suddenly blinked, hearing the cheerful voice of Yuji before he realized his mistake.
His students seemed anxious because Gojo seemed anxious. He, the person responsible for standing in front of them as their dependable pillar, was seen to be under threat. Naturally, they would be nervous.
'Che, how pathetic of me...' Removing the white fabric over his shoulders Gojo offered his back with a grinning smile as he said,
"Give it your best shot."
Yuji felt a lot more relieved before he marched forward and slammed his palm on Gojo's back for good luck.
Soon the other students also began to tap on his back and extend their words of encouragement,
"Go get him!" Miwa enthusiastically chimed.
"Salmon." Inumaki nodded with a tinge of determination in his eyes.
"Show them what you got, blindfolds," Kusakabe spoke indifferently.
"If it gets too rough, I will tag out." Yuta ensured.
Gojo didn't say anything in response to that, but he knew the situation wouldn't come down to the phase where any of his students would need to help him. But voicing that out seemed pretty uncool so he just walked forward.
"Roger t-"
Suddenly, Gojo's voice and feet came to a stalemate as he felt a presence....a familiar one.
Every student and elder one also frowned upon seeing a dark blue portal summoning just in front of Gojo as they faced the portal with their guards up.
A figure suddenly appeared from behind the curtains of the clouds and stood facing Satoru.
"You..." Seeing that face and those eyes, Gojo suddenly was hit by a barrage of memories and information that always had been a part of his mind but he never knew.
The memories were about the days when he was in the prison realm and was summoned into an entirely different dimension to train a certain cocky brat whom Gojo has faced once in the past as well—during the Plasma Vessel rescue mission.
Those clouding memories overwhelmed Gojo as he stared at the boy in astonishment.
Suddenly, because he was growing nervous, Yuta stepped forward to ask the identity of the intruder...however, Gojo raised his arm to stop Yuta from taking any action as he called out,
"Nanase Haruka..."
"So you do remember me, Sensei." Haru said as he removed his glasses.
A round of gasps was shared amongst the people standing behind. The reason for such a reaction stems from the fact that the person who arrived just now called Gojo his sensei...and also, the person also possessed something similar to what Gojo has.
Six Eyes.
"Gojo-sensei? This person...!" Yuji was the first person to react as he walked forward and looked into the eyes of the newcomer.
Gojo decided to first break the ice about the identity of his student or the others might push Haru down for some answers,
"He's a person who defeated me the last time we fought."
"Ehhh?!"
"Huh?!!!"
"No way...."
"For real?"
The ones who panicked were Miwa, Yuji, Yuta, and Takaba. While the others retained their demeanor, they were greatly astounded as well.
There was no one in this world who had completely defeated Gojo Satoru until this day. Even Kenjaku got the upper hand against Gojo because he used civilians as his meat shield and used his identity as Suguru Geto as a surprise element.
And to think, a person not much older than eighteen years of age was able to defeat the renowned strongest sorcerer of this era?!
Indeed, something worth being shocked about.
"Relax guys...it was a long time ago. At that time, Gojo-sensei was a lot cocky and overconfident in his skills. Things might not end up in the same way, they did the last time."
Hearing his words, Gojo knitted his brows before arresting his student under his arm and rubbing Haru's head violently.
"Whom are you calling cocky, eh? All I remember was that part where you called me weak."
Although the scene looked friendly and seemed like this person named Haru had a great bond with Gojo, someone had to step in and ask about something unnatural.
"Gojo-kun...you mean at that time when you and Geto lost to a certain someone and lost the Plasma Vessel, was this guy involved in that incident?" It was Shoko who stepped forward and asked with a frown marring her face.
Gojo let go of Haru before he nodded with an answer, "Indeed, he's the one."
"Then why...haven't he aged since that time? Don't tell me, he was merely a kid when he confronted two special-grade sorcerers."
Hearing Shoko's growing confusion which soon switched to shock made others look at Haru even more closely.
The person, apart from his Six Eyes seemed not to be profoundly strong. However, Yuta could sense it; the control of Cursed Energy Haru has, displays the vast experience he carries within.
"Does it matter? What makes me wonder is the purpose with which Haruka has appeared now."
Hearing Gojo's query every person turned to look at Haru with a questioning look.
Indeed, it was a moment of emergency.
The strongest sorcerer, hailed as the undefeated King of Curses was going to battle against the strongest one of this generation.
The battle between the two was quite anticipated and through speculation, no one could land on any answer for who would win between the two.
And at such a precise moment, someone out of nowhere appeared before them, with the strength to rival Gojo Satoru and possessing an air similar to him.
Being wordlessly forced by everyone for an answer, Haru finally revealed his reason for visiting,
"I am here for Sukuna."
