Bab 355: 54.9 Uninvited Guest

Immediately crouching down on the ground, I let my staff slide on my right hand as I swung right at the Primzahl's earlier injury, knowing that it might still hurt if I hit it again. The bruise also made for a good target, the screaming purple contrasting against the man's sun-kissed skin.

"Playing dirty now, eh?"

As expected, the man jumped from my swipe; leaping forward as his right fist aimed directly at my chest. Quickly bringing the staff back to me, I attempted to block the strike with the thin stick of metal, succeeding in dampening the impact against me. Unfortunately, it didn't stop the force of the blow as I skidded backward at least a few meters away from him. Lowering my staff, I had only then noticed how far I actually slid away from him. It was ten meters, at least.

Yikes.
