Bab 222: 33.5 Reset

"How's the job?" I found myself asking, wishing to at least exercise my vocal cords a bit.

"Fine."

"Any news?"

"Not much. The Vida had successfully taken parts of the eastern province," she blandly replied. "The Emperor is personally taking the battlefield to address this."

I feigned acknowledgment as I nodded to the woman. I didn't know what the hell a Vida was though. All I knew was that they were the enemies of the Empire, and judging from the tidbits I hear every now and then, the war against them had been slowly deteriorating for some time now.

Then again, what did I know? I was just a clueless idiot still struggling to decipher what the hell was going on.
