Bab 80: 12.7 Off-Guard

I just had to keep running. His dagger didn't even graze me as I put distance between us faster than he could attack me. Fvcking moron... Too bad there was nothing stopping me from ignoring him entirely.

So I did just that, and after a few more seconds of running down the stairs, I was back into the thick of things in terms of Dezimals in my way. I readied my katana as I began to systematically cull their numbers-

*SLASH! SLASH!*

-felling my first two Dezimals by cutting through their armor like ribbons. Even with their shields, they were already too weak to even consider. Add the fact that I was doing this from behind their established lines, and I couldn't help but feel kind of bad for essentially backstabbing my enemies to death.

Only a little though. There was no honor in battle and war, after all. Only winners and losers.
