Bab 90: Beginning of the Long Night
Jake had arrived at Rica's position.
Seeing her condition, he could not help but wonder how he would begin his "play time" with her.

In the end, both of them got captured.
One of the duo, carry her carefully since they need her cooperation to asked about the penetrator behind the three body of men burned down in an abandoned alley way.
Since their job is finished, they decided to leave immediately but—

They heard a voice behind them.
Looking at his back, Jake surprised to see that person again.
From what he remember, this guy in front of them is the same person who saved Anna from him.

He can not see the person behind the hood because he knows the hood is a magical device like his black cloak, but his tone suggests he is upset.

Unfortunately, Alex has no reason to prolong this conversation.

The night is very peaceful but the loud bang woke up the whole city.
The city bell rings.

Unfortunately, this loud bang didn't come from the Alex's attack but from somewhere else.
The guards look up and saw an incoming giant rock.
They shouted in fear and runaway from where it will land.

The western gate of the May City has been destroyed.
Everyone is panicking as they run away from the gate.
Even the guards who supposed to protect the citizen, run away too.
"Hey, go back!"
The guard leader order his men in anger.
They were supposed to protect the city so why they are running away.
However, when he looks back, he learns the reason immediately.
A large white and black snake enters the city.

Three explosion suddenly erupt and the chaos increases.
After al l, it is far away but he can see where those explosions came from.
North, South, East, and his position, the West gate are already down.
All exits and entrance has been down and many monster are entering the city.
The monster wave has come.

Jake was able to escape thanks to his transformation.
It's his secret but he came from the werewolf race.
Mayor Luke know about this since his father is his friend.
He got the blood from her mother since his father is a normal human.
The transformation immediately end and shows his half naked body.
Unfortunately for him, it seems that he couldn't continue his investigation anymore.
Because of the attack, he need to toss Rica so that he can get away safely while Anna and the duo didn't make it.
Based on how large the attack, he concluded that they already dead.
He take out another clothes that similar to his outfit earlier and decided to run away from here.
He also decided to push the penetrator to the hooded man so that his reputation is wouldn't get destroyed.
In terms of why he ran away, this was not the only reason.
Mayor Luke may have discovered that Marie, his daughter, had died before blackmailing him.
Well, there are so many good investigators, so he might already send someone after he visits him.
However, he did not kill her by force; instead, it was an accident.
His father had no idea Marie was a masochist who enjoyed being strangled whenever she made love to him.
Before he accepts the request from an unknown client, she and he have a full-on make love session.
