Bab 154: Fruitful Failure

With Emily finally being back at Haven Group, and the two of them having decided that they were going to give this sleeping together thing a chance. Things should have just fallen into place on their own. After all, she and Derek had overcome the biggest hurdles. But life did not work like that.

Their plan when it came to going to sleep together had been something vague. Emily had thought that they would get a hotel somewhere, preferably some place where Derek was not so well known, or if he was insistent on them going places that had more than four stars attached to their name, then she could hide her face.

Hotel staff in such areas tended to remember faces, and if she went as herself, word that the CEO of Haven Group, and his PA had been seen entering a hotel room together would be the talk of the town in a matter of minutes. Instead of focusing on the technicalities of what could go wrong, Emily, had chosen to focus on the good stuff first.
