After months of what had felt like never ending days in court. Sebastian Haven's fate had finally been sealed. Life in prison. Emily could finally breathe easier, knowing that the man would not be coming for her, or anyone that she loved.

Their fathers were finally getting the justice that they had been robbed of for 20 years.

It was good news, great news, and Emily would not lie. She had shed real tears when Sebastian had been found guilty and when he had been sentenced.

But while the rest of the world seemed to want to stall on that particular issue, to keep going over the details of the case with a fine-tooth comb, Emily, Derek and their mothers were ready for it all to be over.
