Bab 148: Failure was not an option

"Failure was not an option." Alicia murmured to herself.

And so, with each swing of her dagger, Alicia pushed herself further, her determination burning brighter with each passing moment. She would not falter, she would not waver. They would see this through to the end, no matter the cost.

With a final, decisive blow, Alicia dispatched the zombie before her, its lifeless form crumpling to the ground in a heap.

She took a moment to catch her breath, her chest heaving with exertion as she surveyed the carnage around her.

But even as she paused to collect herself, Alicia knew that their journey was far from over. There were more challenges ahead, more battles to be fought.

Jansen provided cover fire from the rear, his weapon unleashing a barrage of bullets at the encroaching horde.
