Qin Shuang felt terribly uncomfortable and took the bottle instinctively, not minding that the water was a bit cool and gulped down most of it.

The bitter taste in her mouth still didn't dissipate, and Qin Shuang couldn't help but frown, but at least she felt a little better.

Only a bottom of water remained in the bottle, and Qin Shuang didn't take it with her, tossing it into the nearby trash can.

Upon leaving the restroom, Li Mingxi asked worriedly, "Do you feel any better? Do you want me to accompany you to the hospital?"

Qin Shuang shook her head: "No need, it's just my stomach is a bit upset."

"Then I'll go withdraw some money for you first, wait for me for a moment, and then you should go home early to rest." Seeing her pale face, Li Mingxi gave a couple of instructions and hurriedly ran to the ATM beside the restaurant.

In just a few minutes, Li Mingxi returned and handed a stack of cash to Qin Shuang.

Qin Shuang put the cash in her bag and said sincerely, "Thank you."
