Thousands of spiders were burned and probably waited for them in this place. The carcasses were spread everywhere and as they were in the middle of the city, the cloud slowed down and they soon landed.

Kendra didn't want to take chances and rushed with them to the nearby safety spot and saw what was following them. Actually, it didn't exactly follow them. It just moved around as it was its nature.
