100% She is Dangerous / Chapter 8: 8

Bab 8: 8

Early Monday morning, the day was slowly turning out to be far more hectic than he had anticipated. Seriously, the Professors are making the final year of his Graphic Design Bachelors sound boring. He so far enjoyed participating in all the modules except this one and credits goes to this Professor who is still figuring out how to close a browser tab.

Taking a quick glance at his watch as the classroom continued to bore him with no end in sight. A thin smirk caressed his cheeks and helped him to a subtle sigh in relief.

"Few minutes to lunch time", he said to himself.

He looked around, catching sight of other faces looking somewhat as miserable as he was. They all wanted a way out and that was a fact. In fact, the morning had begun with the most demanding lecture they had and the man had still not left the class. The workaholic as they termed the man to be, simply could not pass off on the offer of taking over a self study period.

Seeing the man in the front of the class caused Jina to yawn and cringe at the same time.

"What's your hurry?" someone said from Lin Tao's left hand side.

Lin Tao, whose intent was to remain as calm as possible and not give off how restless he was, remained fixated on the board and managed a weak smile to discern his true emotions.

"You look like you just might piss yourself", the voice came through again.

Lin Tao shot his head to the side and there she was; Min Soo. Min Soo was not like the typical school kids and she definitely had a way of causing more harm than good. They all saw the young woman as mischievous and a form of renegade, but that wasn't entirely how Lin Tao viewed her. They had a past and the history still snuck up on Lin Tao every time he looked into those deep blue eyes.

Hurriedly, Lin Tao cast his gaze away as the bell distracted him well enough from indulging Min Soo. Min Soo chuckled aloud where she sat, before slowly easing herself from her seat and approaching Lin Tao. Lin Tao lowered his head and hoped his lack of interest would cause Min Soo to head off. They definitely wouldn't have been close, had Lin Tao not shown sympathy to Min Soo for losing the Varsity hockey cup.

He was still seething from the experiences and while Min Soo was a daily reminder of just what bad girls entailed, he didn't want anything to do with anyone just yet. He turned to the side, picked up his backpack and got on his feet. Min Soo followed him to the door and stood by the entrance, preventing Lin Tao from walking away.

"Why are you in a hurry, Tao?" Min Soo asked while she stretched her arms across the door and smirked right back at Lin Tao.

Lin Tao shook his head and dropped his face into his hand. "Come on Min Soo, I don't have time for this. I have to be somewhere and soon before classes resume".

He would rather people didn't see them together either. He could very well remember how things had started between them. It didn't feel good when it began, but the prospect of it had been enticing.

The night passed so fast he couldn't quite remember the details in entirety, but he could remember giving a red flag for Min Soo's intentions. He never wanted things to happen between them. That 'no' rubbed Min Soo's ego which in turn is trying to mess with him.

"You've got less than one minute to get the hell out of my way or I'd kick you in the nuts", Lin Tao warned with a raised eyebrow. "You cannot keep doing this and especially not in school or in class. It is becoming tiring and I have had enough of it".

His eyes fizzled red with anger and it wasn't hard to see he had been pissed off. Min Soo slowly stepped to the side and held up her hands to show she meant no harm.

"I was just messing with you. What crawled up your backside and died in there?" Min Soo said.

Lin Tao shrugged and walked past before letting off a smile in relief. It was the only way he could handle someone in the frame and personality of Min Soo. Min Soo would feed on the slightest emotion she could get her hands on and Lin Tao was way past allowing that to happen. More so, she brought trouble wherever she went and in whatever she did.

"I'm parched", Lin Tao whispered to himself before marching down the hallway, hoping to get a glimpse of the news bulletin being posted on one of the notification boards. "Glad I could get rid of that idiot".

He knew it was a matter of time before he would catch or see Min Soo doing her best to get into another boy's pants in school. The girl didn't come across as one who could actually take care of her urges. Her actions were becoming increasingly known around school and the fact she was a damn pretty seemed to fuel her ego.

In fact, she would rank amongst the three hottest girls in his school and Lin Tao never saw that as a good thing for him or for anyone willing to date Min Soo. It was a recipe made for disaster and one which was most likely going to sower the other party involved with him some major headaches. It was why Lin Tao dropped his ass and why he wouldn't even consider touching her with a stick if she was given the opportunity to do so.

Partly drenched in his own thoughts, Lin Tao halted as he caught sight of a familiar figure. The figure wasn't entirely familiar, but he had seen her some nights ago and the impression left was one to ensure he recognized the young woman wherever they met.

"What is she doing here?" Lin Tao asked himself without any particular form of interest in the lady.

Granted he had to acknowledge how properly dressed the fellow was, coupled with the really nice sneakers she had on, nothing else about her or about her actions some nights back warranted any measure of admiration.

"Just another troubled kid", Lin Tao thought to himself as he drew closer to the school board.

Lin Tao ground to a halt some feet away from the girl as he peered his gaze into the ID card hanging off the individual's pocket. It was the same with his and it definitely indicated that they attended the same school. Lin Tao, somewhat thrown back, decided against allowing it to affect him. It wasn't his business and he didn't have the power to stop anyone from enrolling in the same school as he was.

More so, this girl doesn't have any morals and one could say that by the way she dressed. She has a tattoo on her arm and looked like a hippie. The way she was pushing that guy who was begging to be with her in the club clearly explains what kind of woman she is. She probably must be cheating on that sweet guy with some rich dude. Woman like her always leave true love and go after money.

He and his friends had spent the night discussing the event until they got home and it continued on their phones respectively until sleep dragged them off on that particular night.

"Mind your business and do what you gotta do", Lin Tao warned himself.

Taking in some deep breaths, he approached the boards and began reading through his particular interests before slowly tending his attention towards the girl once again. She was young, no doubt, but her body frame hung beautifully underneath her shirt. Lin Tao felt himself almost smiling before noting the expression on the young woman's face.

"Lin Tao", the fellow noted while she shook her head. "It's not love, it's drugs".

Lin Tao knew what she was making such rude remarks over. She obviously didn't seem to fancy the love words etched into a plaque and hung on the wall for everyone with an interest to read and possibly brighten up their day with it. He made this creatives all his second year and it was something most people dotted after, but obviously not the rude girl from the other night.

Lin Tao's heart sunk down his chest and he frowned dearly at the uncouth fellow before waking over to the plaque to read the soothing words over and over and again. It was the second time his impression about the fellow had been on a sour note and he was fast choosing to believe in it.

"A woman without character can't understand love." Lin Tao commented.

He turned away and headed for the canteen, hoping to get himself some refreshment or at least, something to soothe the sour taste left in his mouth. He still couldn't quite get thoughts of the girl out of his mind though. Something about her prevented Lin Tao from casting such thoughts aside. He was certain they couldn't be friends.

At least, in that very moment, he was sure there was nothing he wanted to have to do with the unknown girl. He had not been able to glimpse her name off of her identification card either and for whatever reasons, Lin Tao wondered if that would have been helpful.
