Bab 99: CHAPTER 99

Tessa arrived at the cliff which was far away from the manor. Her father was standing alone and there was a rectangularly shaped box close to him. Tessa had no idea what the box contained, and she had no idea what her father was doing here, far away from the manor. 

"You sent for me"

The messenger left when Tessa voiced those few words. Sir Mateo waited for the messenger to disappear out of sight before he voiced out. 

"I can't change your mind. Can I"

"No"

Tessa responded straight away, unhappy that her father was still dwelling in that thought. She would never stay behind and that was final. 

Sir Mateo slowly turned to face Tessa. 

"The family is in a mess state currently. This war wouldn't be a simple one, and I fear its merely a distraction from a bigger picture"

Tessa didn't quite understand her father's words, but truly, the family was in a messy state. 

"What bigger picture"
