Chapter 47: Demi-Gods

Children often see their parents as demi-gods and Connie Blackwood-Masters knows this more than anyone because as a child she worshiped the ground her father walked on, she still does.

He has always been easy to talk to and he was overprotective of her but at times she wondered why it wasn't the same way with her brother, Conrad.

Even as kids, he was blamed for most of her mischievousness and trouble.

She remembered when they were five years old and they sneaked inside the Alpha's private office to watch their father conduct a pack meeting with the pack elders from a distance. She knew they were forbidden to be there but she managed to make Conrad come with her.

She knew her father to be a good man and a kind father. The best anyone could ask for but he always had a wall with him. A wall most fathers had with their sons.
