Chapter 141: Can you feel it?

Connie stepped down from the car and made her way into the restaurant. She was over forty minutes late but she wasn't in a hurry to meet her brother. 

Who knew explaining to Axel about what transpired earlier in the day and finding a suitable dress for a high end restaurant was time consuming? 

She would have preferred the comfort of her room and the solitude of being alone to deal with the news of her brother's new found love interest but she made a promise to eat with Conrad at this expensive restaurant she had been dying to get a reservation for a month and she plans to keep that promise. 

How Conrad pulled it off in a short time she would never know. 

It dawned on her that she was exhausted.The restaurant was beautiful and even in Connie's tired state she stopped for a minute to stare and take in the magnificent surroundings.
