 Chapter 128: Where is he?

Franklin sat in the corner of the living room, near the only living plant in the house. The plant was near the window, on the direct path of sunlight, courtesy of Lucy...the only person who cared for it.

Franklin sipped his cup of herb tea and pretended he wasn't spitting it out as soon as Lucy looked away.

He was also watching the morning show on television while Lucy made breakfast.

Defiance came down and sat down with him. She was clutching her backpack and her eyes was glued to the television.

It was a show about failing businesses. It was featuring a tea and coffee cafe in Coastal city.

Taking her time to take everything in the cafe at once, Defiance like a lot of people tried to picture what was the cause of the failing business.
