Defiance stood in front of the mirror and she watched her reflection on it.

In truth, she was just lost in thought. Yesterday, Conrad had told everyone she was his girlfriend and afterwards they butted heads throughout the day.

God! 

He was so infuriating!

But somewhere deep…deep down, she was grateful for his help because nobody threw anything at her afterwards and in her book, she considered it progress.

She straightened her t-shirt and the jeans she wore were a little loose but comfortable so she didn't do anything about it.

There was a loud knock on her door and she turned around in time for Ethan and Mindy to walk into her bedroom.

"Mindy, what are you doing here?" She asked her best friend but before Mindy could answer, Ethan beat her to it.
