Bab 27: Chapter 27
After some hours with Grayfia, Shuri and Lily along with Beru still waiting Daniel to wake up with worried hearts, finally our man woke up.
He slowly opened his eyes and looked at the people who were looking at him.
"DARLING/DEAR!" Both women shouted as they jumped on him, hugging him tightly with trembling bodies.
"W-Where am I?" Daniel said as he tried to process what had happened to him till this point.
"My Liege, glad that you woke up. We all were so worried about you when you suddenly became weak and tired." Beru said as he bowed to Daniel deeply.
"Beru, what had happened to me?" Daniel asked his Marshall.
He was still confused and felt headache so he asked Beru to tell him what had happened to him.
"Yes my Liege. After you finished your meditation, suddenly you opened your eyes while breathing heavily and sweating. And you asked me to bring you to your room so you could sleep because your body was so weak that you couldn't walk properly." Beru replied with utmost respect.
Daniel nodded slightly as he wrapped his arms around the two women's body and kisses their heads.
"You all can return now, Beru."
Beru bowed before he and the two shadows who were standing in front of the door sank in their shadows that immediately attached themselves to Daniel's.
Daniel looked at the two women in his embrace before smiling softly and kissing them on the lips before telling them to back a little so he could get up.
After making himself sit on the bed while resting his back at the head of the bed. Lily and Shuri were still sitting on the bed on both of his sides and Grayfia was still standing looking at him.
"Why don't you sit on the bed, Grayfia. It will be uncomfortable to you if you stood up the whole time." Daniel said sincerely to her which she clearly felt from his gaze. It warmed her heart that he cared for her which gave her another feeling she wasn't used to, but she didn't hate it.
This made her display a small smile that disappeared in the next moment, but it didn't escape his observant eyes.
"No, Daniel-sama, I prefer standing up, besides, I'm a maid and it's inappropriate to do that." She said with her soft cold voice while looking straight at Daniel's eyes that seemed to suck her in.
She loved this feeling.
"Although you don't need to act like a maid in front us or me, but...do what make you comfortable."
Grayfia smiled inwardly as she felt warm and happy for his concern.
"Now, dear, what made you in a state like that?" Lily said while looking at him with serious and firm expression that hid her worries and nervousness, as she for a second thought that she would lose him and leave her like she left him in their past world.
She was on verge of collapsing and losing control with just that thought but when she heard that he only needed some rest and would be okay made her clam down again, but the worry in her heart didn't diminish.
Daniel noticed the worry hidden behind her expression and knew how his previous state reminded her of the past.
He extended his hand and put it on her head, then caressed it a little, making her widen her eyes and look at him to see his soft and gentle smile that he always showed her whenever she was worried or nervous, this same act of caressing her head.
She still remember, she still remember the past with sweet and bitter moments, and definitely that smile and caress was one of the sweet and best moments. It always calmed her and warmed her heart.
"Don't worry, Little Fairy." Once he said that, Lily smiled sweetly and warmly before she nodded.
"Um."
It was a nickname he used to call her with in the past.
Both Shuri and Grayfia saw this show of affection that made them feel sour in their heart as they desired that too.
'I desire to be treated the same? What a strange feeling?' Grayfia muttered inwardly questioning her feelings.
But that is not of an important matter...for now.
"Well, where should I start?"
"I was meditating as usual in the training yard when suddenly I felt something attracting me, calling me to be more specific. I decided to focus on that so I concentrated more until I felt myself in another place filled with deep jet darkness that you can't see yourself there. I lost my sense of direction and all of my senses but I stayed calm,
Until suddenly I heard his voice, it was so rough, deep and distorted, I couldn't determine where the voice came from as it came from all directions. He told me that I know him and we will meet again in the future. That's all before I found myself back at the training yard where I felt so week and unable to move properly that I needed the help of Beru to bring me to my room where I slept and you found me in that state."
[My Liege, we all felt it, the aura and the horrible pressure of the terrifying being that was standing in front of you.] Beru said.
'In front of me?!' Daniel asked with a surprise.
[Yeah, in front of you, it was directly standing in front of you that there was only few inches separating both of you] Bellion continued.
"!!!" Daniel widened his eyes as he realized that he couldn't feel anything when he was in that dark place. So naturally he couldn't find where was that being or even feel him, so how the hell his shadow soldiers knew that the one talked to him was directly in front of him?!!
Lily and Shuri and Grayfia noticed the surprised expression of Daniel and felt suspicious.
"What happened darling?" Asked Lily with confusion.
"I just found something surprising to me but I can't find a reason for that, it's totally strange." He muttered while thinking about what Beru and Bellion told him.
Lily nodded and didn't continue asking further.
"That's enough darling, you just need to rest for now until me and Shuri prepare the dinner. Grayfia, you are staying for dinner as I think you have something important to tell darling about, right?" Lily said as she got out of the bed.
"Yes, you just need to rest and I will make you the most delicious dinner you have ever seen." Shuri said with a sweet smile.
At the same time, Rias and Akeno came back from school, they were late because they decided to make a new club at an old and abandoned building and named it Occult Research Club or ORC for short.
This club will be there base of operations in the school where Rias and her peerage will gather.
Now, when we think about peerage, Rias have only Akeno as her queen.
'I need to more members but I can't take anyone, I need those who are competent and capable but at the same time with a personality that suit my peerage's concept which is family.' Rias thought carefully as she opened the gates of the mansion but before she took a step inside, she looked back at certain direction, exactly a tree, with furrowed brows.
Akeno who noticed Rias's changed expression looked at the same direction and immediately her expression became serious.
But then, Rias moved her pointer finger, that was glowing in crimson red, slightly to the right before under the tree, a jet black circle with crimson outlines appeared.
Suddenly, on the circle, a figure of a man clothed in black with mask covering his face appeared with a horrified expression could be seen from his eyes that was the only visible thing of his face.
He couldn't move an inch from his place even if he wanted to. Then in the next moment, several jet black hands came out of the dark black circle and clinged to his figure increasing his fear and horror. Man couldn't even talk as if something was closing his mouth shut so to not shout or make any sound.
Slowly more hands came out of the circle and wrapped themselves around his body until it covered it whole.
The man didn't understand what was happening to him but he knew one thing, which was that he was done for and his life was over.
He had one last look at her two most beautiful and hot sexy women he had ever seen in his life before his vision turned dark.
The black hands retreated back into the circle before it disappeared. The man had his body disintegrated entirely.
Rias cold expression disappeared and walked back inside the mansion with Akeno following beside her.
No one witnessed anything.
Nothing happened~

A/N: This chapter is small because I wasn't entirely in the mode to write longer one. Tomorrow there will be another one and it will be long like the others.
