Bab 251: Skin care

Chloe and I had barely settled back into our series binge when she suddenly sat up, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "You know what we absolutely have to do tonight?" she said, her voice brimming with excitement.

I raised an eyebrow, curious about whatever plan was brewing in her mind. "What now?"

"Skincare!" she announced triumphantly, as if she'd just revealed the secret to eternal happiness. "We have to pamper ourselves. I mean, after the week we've had, we deserve it."

I laughed, nodding in agreement. "Alright, I'm in. But only if it's not one of those weird ones that make us look like monsters."

Chloe grinned, already hopping off the couch to rummage through her bag. "No promises!"

We headed to the bathroom, and she laid out an array of products—creams, serums, exfoliators, and most notably, a collection of face masks that looked more like something out of a horror movie than a beauty routine.
