Bab 223: Relationship

The morning light filtered gently through the curtains, casting a soft glow across the room. I stirred, feeling the warmth of Carmen's body next to mine. Her arm was draped protectively over me, and I snuggled closer, reluctant to leave the comfort of her embrace. But as the minutes ticked by, I knew I had to get up and face the day.

I carefully slipped out of bed, trying not to wake Carmen. She stirred slightly, murmuring something in her sleep, but didn't fully wake. I smiled, taking a moment to admire her peaceful expression before tiptoeing to the bathroom. The cool tiles under my feet were a stark contrast to the warmth of the bed, sending a shiver up my spine.
