Bab 83: Metropolitan Museum of Art

Stepping out into the bustling streets of New York City, I felt an overwhelming sense of excitement. The city's energy was infectious, and I couldn't wait to start exploring. Isabel and I decided our first stop would be the Metropolitan Museum of Art, affectionately known as the Met. We hailed a cab and were soon on our way, chatting animatedly about what we hoped to see.

The cab ride itself was an experience. The streets were a whirlwind of activity, with cars honking, pedestrians weaving through traffic, and towering skyscrapers creating a canyon of steel and glass. As we approached Central Park, the Met came into view, its grand facade imposing and beautiful against the greenery of the park.

"Wow," I breathed as we stepped out of the cab. "It's even more impressive in person."

Isabel nodded, her eyes shining with excitement. "Just wait until we get inside. The collections are incredible."
