Carmen glanced over at me with a mischievous glint in her eye as we pulled away from the parking lot. "How does a dinner out sound?" she asked, one eyebrow raised.

I couldn't help but grin. "I'd love that," I replied, feeling a flutter of excitement. A fancy dinner date with Carmen wasn't something I'd experienced much, and I was all for a night out, just the two of us.
