Bab 244: An attack in the middle of the night 2

Brian was looking like a devil at the moment. With quick steps, he reached his bed and lifted the pillow.

There's no way he will do this without being armed. He knew fear wouldn't solve anything now, because it wouldn't change the possible outcome if something goes wrong.

For once, he trusted her. Trust that she would be fine. That she wasn't a damsel in distress.

She's a fighter.

He walked back to the door and tried taking in the movement from outside.

The shooting has stopped for an unknown reason. He was expecting them to barge in, but that didn't happen.

Meanwhile.

Outside the room. The broken bricks from the explosion and the gaseous effects that came with it was already circulating fully in the room, but the view is clearing away.

They could see each other now for sure.
