His female classmate bowed her head to him as they both exited the faculty office. Sean was on his way to Shaun when he saw his classmate carrying such heavy folders, so he offered her help.
"Don't mention it," he immediately averted his gaze. He wasn't used to doing this, but these days, he also noticed himself changing.
As he strode the hallways, his phone rang. And the moment he saw who's the caller, his eyes almost widened. "Lucas, I told you I will no—" he halted when he heard a familiar voice in the background.
Lucas sensed him, so he laughed. "Oh? Did you hear his voice? You are right, Sean. Me and your little brother were playing. If you want to join us, come here at the back of the stockroom."
Sean hurried forward, not even noticing the call ended. That stockroom was closer to Shaun's classroom and by this, he can already feel his heart racing rapidly. He clenched the phone on his chest.
"If you love something, you will protect it"
