Bab 798: Killer Thorn (I)

The army of sharp knives led by Long Haochen had only about 14,000 men. It was because he only brought the professionals of the two legions and not the ordinary soldiers. 

The composition of the first and second legions of the Union was the same, which were made up of four thousand soldiers, a thousand knights, five hundred assassins, wizards, summoners, and priests. Each legion, together with more than 40,000 soldiers of various arms, formed two complete legions of 50,000 each. 

The purpose of this army was to fight deep into the Devil's clan, so, a mere ordinary soldier wouldn't suffice. And it would greatly affect the speed of the whole team. Therefore, the real participants in this operation were only more than 14,000 professionals from all the six temples. These professionals were all equipped with mounts, no matter what occupation they were.
