Bab 21: OLD HABITS
Lucas' POV
"And where do you think you're coming from?", Dad's voice thundered as soon as I entered the house. I massaged my head that was already aching.
"Nowhere, dad", I managed to reply.
"Nowhere?! Don't you dare play like that with me, you rascal!!", he thundered.
"Calm down, honey", I could hear mom trying to pacify him.
"Let's listen to his explanation first"
"Explanation? What could he possibly say that would be a reasonable explanation for his antics?!", dad asked furiously.
"He comes home late, and looking like that?! With bruises?! Who did he pick a fight with this time huh?!"
I sighed. I didn't have the strength for this. My head kept banging. I headed towards the stairs and walked towards my room.
