Bab 427: Fifth World: Sweetest illusion

Qie Ranzhe retracted his Qi from Zhao Zhi's body and sat beside him in silence. He peered at the sleeping man while lost in thought. For the past week, he was angered by Zhao Zhi's confession and couldn't help but avoid him lest he does something he would regret. But thinking of it now he felt like he was incredibly petty.

This yao had saved him from the jaws of death and also gave him the most precious gift. Even though his rescue back then was done with hidden intentions, the man still saved him. Whatever happened after was an accident so what was he mad about?

He couldn't help but feel like a drama king for throwing an unnecessary fuss. Qie Ranzhe subconsciously reached out with his warm fingers to caress Zhao Zhi's cheeks which felt so good that he couldn't bring himself to stop. His fingers moved down to those pink lips which he brushed with his thumb.
