Luo Shih's eyes were drawn to the delicate glimmer on her wrist. The pink diamond bracelet seemed to hold within it a soft glow that was radiant on her porcelain skin.

She traced the cool metal with her fingertips, feeling the intricate craftsmanship that had gone into creating something so seemingly fragile, yet so enduring. She had a lot of expensive pieces in her collection and each piece had a different story. She wasn't lacking sparkly things but the fact that this was from her future son in law made her so happy that she couldn't contain her excitement. 

"What do you think? Does it suit me?" she asked and Luo Muchen smiled as he nodded his head. 

Of course, it suited her. Qie Xieling had a very good eye. He recalled when the jeweller came to the Qie family home and showed them the pieces he had brought, Qie Xieling had insisted on this one.
