Bab 643: "Congratulations, I hear—"

The congee was delicious but now he couldn't even enjoy it. He could hear his dad chatting about the plans for the weekend, his voice a soothing balm against the tension brewing in the air. Qie Ranzhe sat next to him, sipping his coffee and occasionally nodding along. 

Qie Xieling who couldn't delay anymore took the last spoonful and stood up to wash his bowl. 

After he was done he walked over and took the furthest seat in the living room. Seeing this Qie Ranzhe sneered. "Do you think sitting that far would save you? I can still get to you."
