"Indeed." Fenris sat down next to Kanaru and stroked Lufian's head. The baby finished his bottle and glared at the hand. The king chuckled at the jealous child. "I didn't realize I named you after a brother. I thought it might not be much of a match. Looking at you, however, changed my mind."

The king pinched the baby's cheek lightly. "You should sleep now, little one. Later, your carer will be busy sending extra people out of the city."

Kanaru figured the ferry was docking soon. "You're right. The royals will be coming home soon. Erm, will Krowrie and his family join them? I forgot to put their names in the ship's manifest. They didn't arrive with everyone else…"
