Opening my eyes to inky darkness is really telling me something about how the rest of my week is going to play out.
Scanning my surroundings, I quickly realize I wouldn't be finding anything to tell me where I was. The only thing I could tell was I wasn't moving because unless I became paralyzed from between the period of me falling asleep and waking up here, because then I wouldn't be able to know if I was in a vehicle or not because I wouldn't be able to feel anything.
I lift an arm and then a leg, then twisted my head left and right. Huh, it seems I wasn't paralyzed, thank God for small mercies.
So, at least I know I wasn't in a moving vehicle, so that meant that wherever I was, it was stationary.
The only thing I couldn't rake my mind over was why, why me? I wasn't rich, I didn't have a wealthy family, I didn't even have a family, actually. I wasn't that good-looking, so there wasn't any reason to sell me into the sex trade, and I was also pretty average down there, maybe an inch bigger, and that was probably me seeing things. So for what reason was I kidnapped?
And then it hit me.
"Oh shit, I'm about to be sacrificed!"
I knew I should have gotten laid sooner rather than later. I guess the nuns at my orphanage were wrong; waiting for marriage wasn't the right thing.
"Stupid sister Agatha because of you, I'm about to get sacrificed because I'm a virgin. If I somehow get out of this situation, I'm going to fuck all the hoes, starting with you."
I stand up hurriedly, beginning to walk in a direction, hoping to come across a way out, even though I could hear a voice in the back of my head telling me it was hopeless, but I didn't – no, I couldn't listen to that voice. At least not before I got laid.
I had been walking for a while now, maybe ten minutes, and I had yet to come across anything…well, that wouldn't be true; I had come across something or really somethings. I would occasionally come across little floating balls of light. At first, I would come across one or two every minute, but lately, which was around two minutes ago, the amount I've come across has increased by a lot, and when I say a lot, I mean I've come across what could have been hundreds of glowing orbs all lazily floating about a foot of the ground. And this amount seems to just keep increasing at an exponential rate.
This brings me to where I was now, looking over a sea of floating spheres of light all clustered together to the point it almost looked like a solid expanse of light.
"Beautiful sight, isn't it."
I almost jump straight out of my skin when I hear a voice speaking right behind me. I turn around quickly, going for a haymaker to knock a couple of teeth out of the presumed cultist, only for me to punch thin air.
"Oh, your feisty one, aren't you?"
I turn around again, another haymaker coming, but once again, I hit nothing but air.
"I see talking isn't on the table, oh well."
Suddenly I feel myself lifted in the air and bound by an invisible force. I try to struggle out of whatever was holding me, but it felt like the more I struggled, the tighter and stronger the hold got.
"Stop struggling already before you hurt yourself."
"Shut up, shitface!" I struggle to yell, feeling a steadily building pressure on my chest as I continued to struggle.
I hear a sigh coming from my assumed captor, "I can't have you die. I'd feel bad afterward," and immediately after, my captor finishes speaking, the force keeping me bound looseness enough for me to breathe comfortably again.
"Hey, dic-" I begin before I feel something cover my mouth, stopping me from sprouting more obscenities.
"Finally, I can speak," The voice takes a break and continues, "So, I bet you're pretty scared, aren't ya? Your hiding it pretty well; kudos to you for hiding it well, but I know you're practically shitting yourself, scared out of your mind in an unfamiliar place, but don't worry, you're not being kidnapped, and you're definitely not being sacrificed. None of that will happen because you can't be kidnapped, and you definitely be sacrificed, not when you're already dead."
My mind goes blank when the voice stops ending on how I was dead. I don't know why I believed that voice; maybe it was how blunt the voice was, or maybe I had finally gone insane, but I did.
"B-But how, and how would you know that?" I asked, not even noticing how my mouth was no longer covered.
"Oh, that's an easy answer, kid," A flash of light appears, blinding me as my eyes were filled with a blinding white light. I blink my eyes, slowly recovering my eyesight, and standing in front of me is the stereotypical kind old man figure. Longbeard, white skin, hunched back, and kind eyes greet me, "After all, I'm God."
"Bullshit," There's no way this guy was God. He looked, he looked so…so ordinary. Whenever I thought of God, I always imagined a golden outline of a gender-ambiguous human or a man of towering stature with well-defined features, a man you could look at and know he could do anything. And once in a while, I would imagine God would be an older man who had a presence about him that made you feel safe, not this guy.
"Yeah, your right. I'm not, but I'm one of the closest things to a god." The old man says, shrugging his shoulders.
"Then what the hell are you then, and why am I here?!" I ask, exasperated.
"I'm a primordial, and I'd like to ask you how the hell you got into my domain? I really need to know since people keep getting into my place, and it's getting really annoying." The old man asks instead of answering my question.
"That's why I asked you?" I was slowly getting the feeling the old man didn't know anything as well.
"Oh, you did? Sorry about that. I've been getting on in years, and my hearing isn't what it used to be. Since you don't know how you got here, I'll have to do to you what I did to the rest." The old man begins to ominously walk towards me, making gooseflesh crop up on my body.
"G-Get away from me!" I scream, once again trying to struggle in earnest again, trying in vain to escape.
The old man stops and begins to laugh, wiping his eyes, "Hahaha, oh my god, I can't ever get over doing this to people. I'm not going to kill you, boyo. I'm going to send you to one of those fictitious worlds you humans keep coming up with."
"Oh. You dick, you almost gave me a heart attack…can I even get heart attacks." I yell and then begin to question the logistics of it even being possible of getting a heart attack when you're dead.
"Sorry, boyo laughter keeps me feeling young, and I couldn't pass up the chance of having a good laugh," The old man apologizes, and soon after, the force that had been keeping me afloat and bound drops me on my feet in front of the old man, "Ah much better, I was getting tired of having to look up to look you in the eye."
"…Thanks."
"No problem, boyo, so now that I have on your feet and your attention, let me elaborate on what I was saying a moment ago. I'm going to reincarnate you, " the old man says, then continues when he notices the confused look on his face, sighing; he continues. "You've read books or any type of media, right?" seeing me nod my head, he continues, "Okay, good, this will make this a lot less complicated. You see, when someone writes a book or creates any piece of fictitious literature, and the book or any type of media has been created with a solid background and characters, the world becomes a reality. These worlds aren't exactly the same as they were envisioned, but they're close enough that they're still recognizable. You following me on this?"
"Yeah, I got this, so what I'm guessing going to happen is that you're going to send me to a different world, right?" I didn't get this at all, but my answer seemed to please him since he gained a smile.
"Okay, good, so let me ask you a question, what world do you want to be reborn in?" As he finishes speaking, a piece of papyrus appears in front of him, along with an already inked quill.
I guess this is happening. I went from thinking I was about to be sacrificed to being isekaied. But, this piece of inner monologue wasn't important right now. What was important was me thinking of a world that wouldn't kill me. Most media types I watched or read would kill me in a heartbeat, and the others we just Earth but more comedic.
"Let's say I chose Harry Potter, would you give me magic, and if you did give me magic, would I be a muggle-born, a half-blood, or a pureblood?"
The old man gained a faraway look before clarity returned before he answered, "You'd be able to use magic. You'd also be half-blood from a random mid-ranking family, and since I'm such a nice guy, I'll make you an orphan, no pesky parents, and also quite talented in the magical arts, but that's all; you're getting out of me."
"Gee, thanks, I love being an orphan. Why not keep it a recurring theme." I said with all the sincerity of a democrat.
"Stop complaining; I get enough of that from my grandkids. Also, you'll have other things to complain about pretty soon." The older man says, waving away my complaint.
"Wait, what do you mean I'll have things to complain about pretty soon?" I ask, not liking where this was going.
"Ah ah ah, I can't be spilling everything. That would ruin all my fun." A smile slowly formed on the old man's face, but not the one I had seen almost been at all times plastered on his face, but one of mocking and insanity.
I suddenly feel something being squished in a small ball. I wanted to scream, but I couldn't; every organ in my body was nothing but a bloody mush, my bones having been crushed into a fine dust.
Everything went dark.

Opening my eyes to a too bright of a room surrounded by a small group of giants, in my opinion, is a rather traumatizing experience, especially after being brutally murdered.
"Ah, look at him. He's so cute." I could hear a coo coming from one of the giant women.
I see one of the giants start reach for me, and I try to run away, but I soon come to the discovery that I could barely move any of my limbs, and even when I did, it felt like I was trying to fun a marathon with a hundred-pound weight on each of my limbs.
The hands finally reach my position and pick me up and pull me towards some of the biggest pair of breasts I've ever seen, but that might be because the person who owned those breasts was a giant.
At least if I'm going to die a second time, I'll be able to say I touched a pair of tits this time.
Suddenly I'm overcome by an intense need to reach for the breasts in front of me, an almost primal feeling; I couldn't stop myself even if I wanted to. My hands sink into the breasts, and I'm overcome by a sense of intense peace and happiness.
"It seems we have a little pervert on our hands, Agatha, and since he seems to like you so much, you'll have to take care of him, it seems." My groping of the beautiful flesh in front of me comes to an abrupt stop. Did one of the giants say, Agatha? Because if they did, then I will survive this moment somehow someway so I can keep my promise.
"I will fuck all the hoes, and I will start with this new Agatha!" I screamed in conviction…or I thought I did because all that came out was the wail of a newborn bab.
Oh, these aren't giants; I'm a baby.
