Bab 157: A Friend

Alaric, Ethan, and Barry all landed within the walls of Hephanit after a short period of flying. Each of them was exhausted, so they went straight to Barry's hub within the city. Barry had a room arranged for each of them, so Alaric went to his, which was the master bedroom, and plopped out on the bed.

"Ahhh, this is so comfy!" He said as he stretched himself out on the comfy mattress. It seems like it's been forever since he's been this comfortable.

When he relaxed a little, he thought back to earlier, too, when he was talking with Ethan and Barry. Ethan and Barry are going to separate from Alaric for a little while to go and finish positioning the other mercenary groups at different towns and villages. They needed Barry for the mercenaries and Ethan for the skeletal armies.

Alaric chuckled to himself, of course, Mulok was in Ethan's world so that he would be with them.

A knock came on Alaric's door, and he groaned a bit to himself, he just wanted to be left alone for a while.
