Bab 11: Chapter-11

Scarlette woke up the next morning with the sun shining brightly her face and destroying her peaceful sleep. She looked next to her right. Pillows were making a wall like the Great Wall of China. She sat up and saw that the other side of the bed was empty. Yesterday was their first wedding night. When they had came to Augustus' room after dinner, they found the bed adorning many pillows. She knew it was the work of her mother right away. She must have told Jennifer about her habit of sleeping with many pillows. Looking at Augustus, she almost laughed out loud at the expression on his face. Horror and disgust were never a good mixture. His wide eyes were glowering at the multicoloured pillows sitting innocently on his otherwise grey bedsheet. Scarlette tried to hold her hardest but it escaped anyway in a very unladylike snort. Augustus looked sharply at her.

"What are you laughing at?" His voice came out ruder than he intended to.
