Bab 128: A Special Sibling Bond

Rayan Varence was quietly sitting alone in his chamber. Like always, he had many things in mind but it was the issue with his maternal uncle that bothered him the most. Maybe because he still could not stop wondering how his uncle managed to carry out that assassination attack in the Aviol Forest.

Putting aside capable people, one would surely need power for it but as far as he could remember, his uncle never had those.

The Fourth Prince was also still bothered by his uncle's whereabouts in the past years when he disappeared. Just what was going on with him?

Rayan Varence was interrupted by the sound of knocking on the door and he simply responded, assuming it to be Jarin. However, it was his father who walked inside and he quickly rose from his seat.

"Father, what brings you here?"

"I heard that you stayed in your chamber for days now," King Horace said to his youngest son. "I come to check if something's wrong."
