After arriving at the Alpha mansion, I didn't bother taking off my clothes, realizing just then that my maids, who'd been following behind me throughout the night without even saying a word, were still behind me.

"Miranda, Barbara." I turned around, acknowledging their existence from the distance they stood away from me. "You two can go rest, okay? Tonight has been... Hectic, to say the least."

They both glanced at themselves, hesitant at first but eventually nodded, bowing slightly before scurrying away.
