Bab 397: CHAPTER 392: PLACEMENTS

There was a difference between one person going unconscious and one person admitting defeat.

If someone was unconscious, they had about 15 seconds to regain consciousness and continue to fight. But if they forfeited, they lost instantly

So when Amy admitted defeat, there was no suspense as the computer immediately announced Vale's victory.

The crowd went wild with cheers, especially those supporting Vale as they felt like he had scared them. Then again, his statement about himself only using 30% of his strength was quite a shocker as the damage he caused to the arena was quite extensive, yet that was only 30% of his strength.

As usual, healers descended on the arena to heal the injured participants. Mostly Amy though as Vale's recovery speed was just as exaggerated as his strength.

After that, the two of them returned Ed to the Special reserved area.

"Why did you take so long?" Lucy asked with clear annoyance and Vale just shrugged.
