The moment the second tail appeared, Victoria felt a fatal threat and without hesitation, stomped on the floor and retreated, effectively ending her attack.

'He grew a second tail on the spot!?' She exclaimed as she got into a defensive stance.

Her pupils constricted as before she could react, a flame colored claw was on its way to her neck.

She wanted to move, she wanted to block, she wanted to channel her magic, but it was all to fast. Even if her thoughts could keep up, her body couldn't.

*CLANG*

A dagger covered in green flames intercepted the claw causing sparks to fly.

Gideon turned his head to the side and looked at Victoria.

"I'll handle it from here." Victoria's body was drenched in cold sweat as she nodded and backed away.

Gideon then turned his head towards Roland who's eyes were white and without irises.
