Bab 63: Dark lycan

Daniel's arms were around me when I awoke, and I was in my own bed. As I slipped from his embrace, a smile played across my lips. I hurried to the nursery, only to see Katherine being rocked by Eric.

Eric turned to face me and exclaimed, "Your daughter is so adorable!"

I forced a grin as I muttered, "Thanks," knowing that the last time he was near the twins, he was about to kill them. I moved in her direction, removing Brooke from the cot. She stroked my engagement ring while giggling. It's "pretty, isn't it?"

Eric asked with anguish in his eyes, "So when are you guys getting married?" I hoped he had moved on, even though I knew he still desired me.
