Getting up, Zenith finally looked at the EXP message over her head.

[Well,] Zenith thought as she left her makeshift pillow. [I just barely managed to level up from this. Nice.] 

"As soon as you went down, I blinded the orc and Syneris finished it off," Emi explained, also getting to her feet. "That was it. The Blades, what was left of them, left as soon as it was done, saying they were going to let Damian know that we beat the boss." 

"And Syneris?" 

"She said that, whenever you're ready, you can call her to go take down the High Rollers. She'll be available." 

Zenith nodded. 

"You know," Emi kept going, "healing can apparently cure basically any injuries you might have, but it can't actually bring you back to consciousness. If you get knocked out, like in your case just now, even if you're healed, you still have to wait to wake up. I didn't know that."
